Community Crisis Fund
The Foundation’s Community Crisis Fund was established in 2020 to support community needs during the COVID pandemic. Organizations in Colonial Beach were asked what the greatest needs were and the overwhelming answer was food insecurity.

Initially the Community Crisis Fund purchased grocery store gift cards that were distributed to food pantries, including St. Mary’s Episcopal, Guadalupe Clinic, Little Zion Baptist Church, and the Colonial Beach Baptist Church. The gift cards were given to patrons of the food pantries so they could purchase perishable items not available at the pantries.

Since 2023, the fund now supports the food pantries through grants awarded during the fall and spring grant cycles.
Financial support for the Community Crisis Fund comes through sales of the LOVE Golf Cart and Town Pier ornaments, the 2024 Building Community Raffle net proceeds, and generous donations.
Support the Community Crisis Fund with an Ornament Purchase

This is not a requirement to donate to CBF.
