The Foundation encourages and supports Colonial Beach youth to attend 4-H Summer Camp sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension

Students attend a week-long camp in Jamestown where they participate in activities such as canoeing, swimming, archery, crafts, team-building, and more. For many children this is the first time they have spent away from home and Colonial Beach.

 

During the June 2024 Monthly Meet Up, campers spoke about their camp experience and excitement to attend next summer.

 

Wendy Herdman from the Virginia Cooperative Extension was in attendance and expressed her gratitude to the Foundation for its long-standing support. (link to press release)
