Like many of our residents, Cathy loves the spirit of our community and sees great opportunities for the community to thrive. The Foundation enables her to lend her experience in marketing, management, and leadership to a longstanding, respected organization that is mission driven and focused on improving the community in a nonpolitical environment.

Peter became a member of the Board of Directors during its formation in 2005 and was elected President in 2007, and considers it a privilege to serve in that role until 2019. Peter believes that the Colonial Beach Community Foundation is the vehicle in which people who love this small town and wish to make a lasting impact can do so. He describes the Foundation as a long-term stable organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in our town.
